In a 2014 Ford Fiesta, you can find the inertia switch in one of three locations - either in the trunk behind the paneling on the driver's side, behind the glovebox, or in the passenger kick panel. The purpose of this switch is to prevent fuel leakages in case of an accident by cutting power to the fuel pump. It has a built-in sensor that activates, similar to a circuit breaker, if it detects enough force. When triggered, it halts the power to the fuel pump to avoid any potential hazards. To reset the switch, simply press the button on top of it.
The inertia switch in the 204 Ford Fiesta can be found behind the glove box in the dashboard.
