In the 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt, you can locate the vehicle speed sensor attached to the transmission. It's an easy spot to locate. Simply stand in front of your car and pop open the hood. Then, check the left side of the engine bay where you'll find the sensor bolted onto the transmission next to the axle output on the passenger side of the vehicle. If the sensor malfunctions, it will require replacement. You can buy a new one at any auto parts store or from reputable online dealers. Alternatively, you can opt to have a professional mechanic handle the replacement, which may come with a higher price tag.
