The 2018 Ford F-150's jack and jack kit are stored behind the rear seat on the passenger side. Next to the rear license plate on the right is a keyhole that you will need to use to lower the spare tire located underneath the vehicle. To replace the tire, start by placing the car in park and engaging the parking brake, then make sure the engine is off. Turn the jack counterclockwise to lower the spare tire. For the front tires, locate the jack point on the frame rail with an arrow indicating its position. To change a rear tire, position the jack under the rear axle. Remove the lug nuts and the flat tire, put on the spare tire, and hand tighten the lug nuts. Lower the truck and use the jack to tighten the lug nuts securely. The flat tire can be stored underneath the truck.
