The tools required for this task include an 8mm wrench, an 8mm socket with a ratchet and extensions, a 10mm wrench, a 10mm deep socket, a standard 1/2" wrench, a breaker bar with a 1/2" socket, a 3" extension for the breaker bar, a flexible ratchet with a 1/2" socket, a flathead screwdriver, sandpaper, paper towels, and gloves. The price of a new starter typically ranges from $70 to $130.
