If you drive a 2012 Jeep Liberty and need to find the starter in your engine for a check-up, you can locate it on the driver's side of the engine's mount, under the left cylinder bank. To access it, you will have to remove the big bolts on the mounting plate. If the starter is faulty, you'll have to get a new one, costing you around $124 to $258.
