In the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the transfer case control module, also called the Drive Train Control Module, can be found in a small compartment below the driver's seat. If the TCCM is faulty, you might experience trouble shifting gears, hear grinding noises when shifting, and notice your Jeep engaging and disengaging from four-wheel drive. You may also hear a loud clicking or ticking sound from under the car. To replace it, you can buy a new one from Mopar for approximately $275, but be sure to verify it matches your VIN before buying.
