The 2012 Chrysler 200 alternator fuse can be found in the fuse box located to the left of the steering wheel. To access the fuse box, look for a small seam or crack along the dash to the left of the steering wheel. Use a screwdriver or prybar to open the fuse box panel. Inside, you will see a variety of fuses. On the back of the panel, there should be a diagram indicating the purpose of each fuse. If the diagram is not on the back of the panel, you can also find it in the vehicle's owner's manual. Once you identify the fuse you need, simply remove it. Check if the thin metal strip connecting the two sections of the fuse is intact. If it's broken, the fuse is no longer functional and should be replaced. If the strip is intact, the fuse is still good and can be reinserted. Replacement fuses are typically inexpensive, costing around $10.
