The FIAT Freemont houses its battery in the engine bay. To locate it, start at the front of your vehicle and use the prop arm on the left side of the engine compartment to lift the hood and keep it secured. Inside the engine bay, you'll see a sizable black box with a red and black connector on top. If the battery is faulty, it will require replacement, which could range from $50 to $240 for parts only.
