The 2014 Ford Escape blower motor resistor is located near the accelerator pedal. Annoying noises from the air conditioner may be caused by loose mounting bolts or a faulty compressor. Excessive Freon can also lead to these noises. It’s important to address these sounds promptly to avoid frustration and discomfort. Maintaining a well-functioning air conditioner is essential to ensure a pleasant driving experience. Issues with this component, such as a faulty motor, an inaccurate thermostat, or unpleasant odors from the vents, can disrupt your comfort. A loose fan or a Freon leak can also contribute to discomfort.

The blower motor is located behind the glove compartment, while the resistor can be found behind the gas pedal. To be able to access it, you'll have to remove the pedal.
