The crankshaft position sensor for your 2007 Camry 2.4 is situated on the right side of the engine block, attached to the cylinder head nearest the intake manifold. When you look down at the cylinder head, you will notice a wire running from the top of the block to underneath the crankshaft. Removing the crank sensor can be challenging due to its extended stem, so it might be wise to hire a professional for the job, usually costing around $100 for labor with the replacement sensor itself priced around $200. Before investing in new parts, check the wiring for any damage on both ends connected to the sensors as animals sometimes chew on these wires. Repairing the wires through soldering is a more cost-effective alternative to sensor replacement!
