There's a sensor on each door and the locks of your Ford Transit. You can easily spot the sensor on the door jamb, and they are affordable at around $7 on Amazon. To replace it, you just need to remove two bolts, swap in the new one, and connect the wire leads. After an accident, these sensors can get misaligned, or they may fail on their own. Signs of a failed sensor include a door ajar error, the dome light staying on, a dead battery, or excessive wind noise.
The door sensor on the Ford Transit can be found in the door frame.
