As the proud owner of a 2011 Ford Fiesta, you might be curious about locating the fuel cut-off switch in your car. It shouldn't take more than 5 to 8 minutes to complete this task. Begin by heading to the right side of your vehicle and taking a seat in the front passenger side. Then, open up the glove compartment. At the inner left side of the open glove box, apply pressure to release it fully. Once removed, search the compartment for a yellow rubber-capped switch – this is your fuel cut-off inertia switch. To deactivate it, just flip the switch.
The fuel shut-off switch for the 2011 Ford Fiesta can be found on the floor panel, to the right side of the transmission tunnel.
Where can I find the transmission hump?
It's not located behind the glovebox in every model.
I searched for the cutoff switch behind the glovebox in my 2001 Ford Fiesta but couldn't locate it. I need to take the bus to work now. My car was running great until it ran out of gas. Can anyone please help me find the switch?
