You'll typically find it on the driver's side of the vehicle beneath the dashboard and steering wheel, specifically in slot #40. The FP relay is in charge of managing the electrical power to the fuel pump. Warning signs that it might need to be replaced include the engine not starting, stalling, or the fuel pump remaining silent when you turn the key to the "on" position. If the relay has completely failed, the engine may crank without firing because the fuel pump is not activating. On the other hand, if it's intermittently failing, the car may stall but start up again later. Replacing the relay usually costs less than $20 and can be done by the owner with the help of the owner's manual.
