In a 2011 Ford Fusion, you can locate the power steering fuse inside the fuse panel situated near the firewall in the engine compartment. The power steering motor, which is found in the engine bay, is connected directly to this particular fuse box. If you experience a loss of power steering, the first thing to investigate is the fuse. If the fuse is no longer functional, simply replace it. However, if the fuse continues to blow, you should inspect the wiring leading to the motor. Damaged wiring could potentially be causing a short circuit, resulting in the blown fuse. Additionally, if the power steering motor has an internal short, this could also lead to a system failure.
Typically located near the engine, you'll find a reservoir that might be white or yellow, topped with a black cap.
