In a 2014 Chevy Malibu, the mass air flow sensor can be located near the front of the engine air filter housing within the engine compartment. This sensor is a small black plastic device connected to wires that measures the airflow going into your engine. It sends this data to your car's ECU, which adjusts the throttle body opening to maintain the correct fuel-to-air ratio in the engine. If the mass air flow sensor starts to fail, you might see a check engine light, as well as notice rougher performance from your vehicle's engine.
Can you tell me where I can find the IAT 1-2 sensor on a 2014 Chevrolet Malibu 2.5? Also, I'm trying to figure out if the MAF sensor and the IAT sensor are the same thing.
Check close to the engine air filter box to find the mass airflow sensor on a 2014 Chevrolet Malibu.
