In a 2013 Ford F-150, the EVAP purge valve can be found near the fuel tank on the driver's side of the truck, attached to the EVAP canister. If your vehicle is experiencing vapor lock issues, examining this valve is a good idea. A malfunctioning canister purge valve may cause an EVAP system leak, resulting in a check engine light on your dashboard. While many assume it's a gas cap issue, the real culprit could be a stuck open purge valve causing problems with the EVAP system.

It can be found in the engine compartment at the top of the front of the engine, right in the center, marked by a green and black quick disconnect. Simply pop the hood, glance downward at a slight angle, and you'll spot it. I recently swapped out mine.

It can be found at the front and center of the engine. There is an electrical plug and a hose connected to it. It is the easiest and fastest part to replace on the vehicle, right after the wiper blades.

no problem! Where is it exactly located? Is it near the muffler or the gas tank, or right in front of you on the engine? What in the world?

The solenoid valve for purging the evaporative emissions canister is situated within the canister itself, positioned at the back near the muffler.
