The 2014 Honda Accord uses DOT 4 brake fluid. When changing the brake fluid, the process can be straightforward or more complex depending on whether you need to bleed the brakes. If you only need to top up the fluid, locate the intake port under the car's hood. Unscrew the cap and check the container, which will have MIN and FULL lines. Fill the container between these lines, ideally closer to the FULL line. Replace the cap, and you're finished. If bleeding the brakes is necessary, begin by using a jack to lift the car off the ground and removing the tires. Starting at the back, find the bleeder valve on the wheel. Attach a piece of rubber tubing to the valve and open it. Sit in the car and slowly press down on the brake pedal. Release it and repeat the process. Watch for brake fluid flowing into a bucket through the tubing. Keep repeating until no more fluid comes out, then move to the next wheel. Complete this process for all wheels, then reattach the tires and refill the brakes.
