In the 2015 Mazda5, it is advised to use Mazda Genuine ATF M-III, M-V, or a similar alternative like Dexron II. Check your power steering fluid levels every couple of months to prevent them from dropping too low. The reservoir is located near the engine coolant reservoir on the passenger side of the engine. Keeping the fluid at the proper level is crucial to avoid damaging the power steering pump over time. If you observe a rapid decrease in fluid, there may be a leak, and it is recommended to have the vehicle inspected.
Your Mazda 5 requires either Mazda ATF M-III or Dexron II automatic transmission fluid for its power steering system.
