If the radio in your 2017 Ford Fusion is not working, there are a couple of things you should check. The wires powering the radio may be faulty, or the radio itself could be broken. However, it's more likely that you will need to inspect the fuse box. To access the fuse box, look to the left of the steering wheel and search for a small seam or crack along the dashboard. Use a screwdriver or prybar to open this panel. Inside, you will see multiple fuses. On the back of the panel you removed, there should be a diagram indicating the function of each fuse. If the diagram is not there, you can find it in the vehicle's owner's manual. Once you've identified the fuse you need, simply remove it. If the thin strip of metal connecting the two raised sections of the fuse is broken, the fuse is no longer functional and should be replaced. If the metal strip is intact, you can reinsert the fuse back into its slot. Replacement fuses are inexpensive, usually around $10.
