To reset the oil light indicator on a 2007 Mazda3, begin by inserting the key into the ignition but leaving it in the off position. Locate the trip button on your instrument panel and press and hold it down. While keeping the button pressed, turn the vehicle on without starting the engine. After a few moments, you will notice flashing lights on the instrument panel. Once the flashing stops, release the button. Turn the vehicle off and then back on to confirm that the light has been reset.
