To store the folding rear seats in your Chevrolet Traverse, you need to follow a few simple steps. Start by lowering the head restraint using the release button on the side. Then, pull the handle on top of the seat to unlock it, and fold it forward by pulling the lever on the right side of the rear cargo area if your Traverse has this feature. When you want to put the seats back into place, make sure your seatbelt is secured in the belt stowage clip, raise the seat up, and ensure it locks into position. Look for the raised tab to retract, indicating the seat is upright. Lastly, raise the headrest to its original position and lock it in place using the side button.
