To clear the tire indicator on a 2014 Kia Sportage, you should first check and adjust the tire pressures to match the recommendations found on the driver's side door. After ensuring all tires are properly inflated, you can proceed to reset the system. Begin by turning the vehicle on without starting the engine. Locate the TPMS reset button on the dashboard near the steering wheel and press and hold it. Continue holding the button until the TPMS light flashes, then release it. Start your car and begin driving. It is important to drive for at least ten minutes to allow the sensors to calibrate to the new tire pressures.

In my 2014 Kia Sportage, I checked both under the glove box and inside it, but I can't find the TPMS anywhere on or to the right of my steering column.

I feel you, Chris. My 2014 LX has no TPMS reset button anywhere I searched. It's frustrating how sensitive it is - even a slight drop in pressure triggers the warning light, especially on slippery roads. It's been a solid ride for over 8 years, with 137,000 miles on it. I've been diligent with maintenance, handling most tasks myself except for dealer recalls. But that persistent orange light is driving me crazy! Even with all tires at the correct pressure, a faulty sensor keeps it lit. It's exasperating!

I just hit the reset button for all three settings. Should I keep holding it down for 10 minutes for each setting? And should the engine be running or just the ignition on?

Me too, I can't locate the reset button.

To reinitialize the TPMS on the 2014 Kia Sportage, start by confirming the tire pressure is accurate. After turning on the vehicle, press the reset button located to the right of the steering wheel and allow ten minutes for the process. If needed, hold down the button until the light blinks. Incorrect tire pressure may cause sensor issues and affect the car's performance.

I don't have a reset button, and like Dave and Chris verified the tire pressure, the fault diagnosis indicated a problem with the front left tire. I replaced the tire, but the warning light still flashes and remains on. I tried resetting it using diagnostics tools, but the light reappears after driving 10 miles. I know each tire valve has a battery, but I don't want to remove each wheel to check them. I am considering disconnecting the system altogether. Does anyone have a clear solution to this? Thanks in advance.
