The 2004 Subaru Forester has the flexibility to accommodate tires ranging in size from 15 inches to 19 inches, depending on the trim level. In the United States, this vehicle is equipped with tires that have a wheel lug pattern of 5 by 100mm, a center bore of 56.1mm, and a thread size of M12x1.25. For the 2.5T variant, the recommended default tire is a 215/55R17 with a tire pressure of 32 PSI. Alternatively, you may also opt for 225/55R17 tires, which should be inflated to 33 psi, or choose from 255/45R18s and 235/45ZR18s that require 36 psi. On the 2.5i trim, the standard tire size is 215/60R16 and is typically inflated to 30 psi in the front and 29 psi in the rear, just like the 215/55R17 option. You can also install 225/50R17s or 225/45R18s, which should be inflated to 33 psi in the front and 30 psi in the rear.

If the standard size is 17 inches, why are you offering 16-inch tire options?

In 2004, the Subaru Forester comes equipped with 17-inch silver aluminum wheels as standard. The front tire should be inflated to 29 psi, while the rear tire should be filled to 32 psi. The tire specifications for both the front and rear tires are P215/60R16.
