The canister purge valve on a 2011 Ford Edge can typically be found at the rear of the evap cannister, which is a common location for most Ford vehicles. Before attempting to remove the valve, be sure to disconnect the vehicle's battery first. After safely removing the battery, open the hood and search near the firewall. Positioned near the top and behind the engine, you should find the canister purge valve. Should you need to replace the valve, expect to pay between $30 to $60 for a new one.
