Explorer

To find the jack for a Ford Explorer, check in the trunk. Open the trunk and on the left side, locate two plastic hinges in a side compartment. Unscrew these hinges manually and remove the panel. Inside this hidden compartment, you'll find the jack and tools necessary for changing a tire. The spare tire is also in the trunk, under the carpet or mat. Lift the carpet to access it and loosen the wing nut securing the spare tire.
