Daytime running lights have become more common in modern vehicles, serving as both a stylish feature and a safety measure. In the case of the 2014 Ford Focus, considered an economical option, DRLs are available as an optional feature on various trims including the S, SE, SEL, Titanium, ST, and RS. To activate DRLs in other Ford models, simply press the "ok" button on the left side of the steering wheel, navigate to the "lighting" menu, select "daytime running lights," and exit. Turn the headlight control dial on the center display to automatic mode, ensuring that the DRLs will stay on until the car is parked or it gets dark enough for the headlights to automatically turn on.

Daytime running lights are automatically included on every trim level starting from the SE trim level. The S trim level comes with manual lights that the driver must turn on and off themselves.
