The 2019 Toyota Avalon's Limited trim level comes with standard rain-sensing wipers, yet this feature is not available on lower trims, not even as an option. Despite receiving positive feedback from car experts, drivers have experienced issues with these wipers failing after just two years of use. Thankfully, the Limited model still allows for the use of traditional wipers by disengaging the rain-sensing system. One common complaint is that the rain sensors sometimes do not detect light mist or drizzle, which may require the driver to manually activate the wipers. While the rain-sensing feature is a nice addition, it should not be the deciding factor when considering purchasing an Avalon.
