The Toyota Highlander comes equipped with a DVD player. If it stops functioning, the likely issue is a blown fuse. To access the fuse box under the hood, open and secure the hood. On the right side of the engine compartment, you will find a black box with a seam around it. Open this box to locate the fuses. The inner side of the box lid usually has a diagram indicating the purpose of each fuse, but if it's missing, refer to your owner's manual. Identify the necessary fuse and remove it. If the metal strip inside is broken, the fuse is blown and needs replacement. If the strip is intact, the fuse is still good and can be reinstalled. Replacement fuses cost about $10, making them quite affordable.

You can choose to add a rear seat DVD entertainment system to the Toyota Highlander if you opt for the XLE, SE, or Limited trims.
