The 2008 Kia Optima offers two audio setups - one with the upgraded Infinity Audio system. This upgrade doesn't change the speaker size but does enhance the sound quality. Both configurations include front door tweeters, 6-3/4 inch front door woofers, a 6-3/4 inch rear deck center, and 6-3/4 inch rear door speakers. The advantage is that the Optima uses a common speaker size, so finding suitable replacements for an upgrade should be easy. While the Infinity speakers were top-of-the-line in 2008, there are now even better options available in 2021. If you're confident in your skills, swapping out the Optima's speakers can be done with a few hours of work and some effort.

The door panels are suitable for 6.5-inch speakers, which is the same size as the aftermarket ones I have installed, and they fit perfectly within the factory mounting brackets. I've also been curious about the dimensions of the rear deck for possible speaker upgrades.
