You can find the relays for a MINI Cooper on the driver's side of the engine bay, located in a rectangular black plastic box near the fuses. The box is situated behind the coolant reservoir, on the right side of the bay by the firewall, close to the cooling hoses. One important relay to note is the starter relay, which is responsible for transferring power from the battery to the starter solenoid. This process engages the starter, turning the flywheel to start the engine. If you need to replace this part, it typically costs between $15 and $18 and can be easily installed by the driver without professional help. Before replacing the relay, make sure to disconnect the battery's negative terminal and then reconnect it once the replacement is complete.

The responses provided here are utterly unhelpful. I expect everyone to understand that the relays can be found in the relay box located under the car's hood. BMW's decision to employ engineers with mental disabilities and to use generic symbols rather than clear words or explanations has left us struggling to find the exact location we need. It would have been far more beneficial if someone had clearly stated, for example, "it is relay k6," instead of simply mentioning that the relay is in the relay/pd box under the hood.

So, it's located near the battery under the hood? The battery of a supercharged Mini Cooper is actually positioned at the rear, not under the hood next to the engine.
