In 2007, the Toyota Yaris offered anti-lock brakes as an optional feature, but it wasn't included as standard until the 2009 models. If you wanted ABS in 2007, you would have had to choose the "power package" on the Sedan or S Sedan. It may be challenging to determine the packages on a Yaris from that time, but there's an easier way to confirm. Just pop the hood and examine the brake master cylinder. Follow the brake lines and if you spot a black box with four steel lines connected to it, then you have ABS. Another way is to wait for it to malfunction (which often happens) and look for the warning light on the dashboard.
