Isofix is a worldwide standard for securing child car seats in the back. In the US, it's called "LATCH," while in Canada it's known as "LUCAS." The 2009 Ford Focus has Isofix screw holes for installation on the rear driver's side. In the UK, this means the left side, while in the US, "LATCH" is placed on the rear right side. Drivers can easily install Isofix Brackets by lifting the back cushion to find two tan plugs. Removing the plugs exposes the screws needed to install the "LATCH" frame.
