The 2012 Ford Fiesta is equipped with ISOFIX points in the back seats, but what exactly is ISOFIX? ISOFIX is a standardized system for fitting car seats that securely attaches the car seat or base onto metal clips in your vehicle, known as ISOFIX fixing points. To check if your car has ISOFIX points, look for ISOFIX labels between the base and back of the car seats or refer to your vehicle's manual or contact the manufacturer or dealer. Most cars now come with ISOFIX points in the rear seats as standard, and some models also have them in the front passenger seat (refer to your car's manual). ISOFIX will be mandatory in all new models except for two-seater cars.
