The 2017 Honda HR-V is not equipped with Apple CarPlay as the manufacturer claims. However, it does feature an eight-inch Display Audio touchscreen infotainment system on certain trim levels. Honda only started incorporating Apple CarPlay into their infotainment systems from 2018 onwards. The 2016 SUV model also includes Siri Eyes Free, enabling you to activate Siri using a button on the steering wheel. If you're keen on having Apple CarPlay in your 2016 HR-V, you can purchase an aftermarket radio receiver with the necessary integration. Pioneer offers multimedia receivers with this functionality.
