The 2018 Honda Civic is equipped with a CD player. If the player is not functioning properly, the first step is to check the fuse for the CD player. To access the fuse box, locate a small seam or crack to the left of the steering wheel on the dashboard. You can open this panel using a screwdriver or prybar. Inside, you will find multiple fuses. There should be a diagram on the back of the panel or in the owner's manual that indicates the function of each fuse. Once you identify the correct fuse, carefully remove it. Check if the thin strip of metal connecting the two raised sections of the fuse is intact; if it's broken, the fuse needs to be replaced. If the strip is intact, the fuse is still good to use. Replacement fuses typically cost around $10 each.
