The 2019 Chevrolet Equinox does not include a CD player when purchased. However, you can have an aftermarket CD player installed. If the aftermarket CD player doesn't work, you should check the fuse. To access the fuse box, look to the left of the steering wheel and search for a small seam or crack along the dashboard. Use a screwdriver or prybar to open this panel. Inside, you will find several fuses. The back of the panel you opened will have a diagram showing the purpose of each fuse. If this information is not on the panel, you can find it in the vehicle's owner's manual. Once you’ve identified the necessary fuse, carefully remove it. The two raised sections on the top should be connected by a thin metal strip. If the strip is broken, the fuse is bad and needs to be replaced. If the strip is intact, the fuse is still good and can be reinserted. Replacement fuses are typically around $10 each, making them affordable for most users.
