Starting from the 2017 model year, the Chevy Trax now comes equipped with push button start as a standard feature. This modern and secure method of starting the vehicle replaces the traditional key. To use the push button start feature in your Chevy, simply ensure that your key fob is inside the car, whether it's in your pocket or purse, as long as it's in the vehicle. Then, step on the brake pedal and push it down. With your foot on the brake, press and hold the engine start-stop button located on the dashboard. When you are finished driving, shift the vehicle into park and press the button once more to switch it off.
