Does the Chevy Trax come with a third row of seats?

In all model years of the Chevrolet Trax from 2015 to 2021, there is no option for third-row seating. Despite what others may say, the Trax has always had a seating capacity of 5, with only two rows of seats. Given its subcompact SUV classification, it's unlikely that GM would increase the seating capacity. Subcompact and compact SUVs are not designed for carrying many people or large amounts of cargo; vehicles like the Traverse, Tahoe, or Suburban are better suited for that. These larger Chevrolet SUVs offer third-row seating, so if that's important to you, you might want to explore other options.
