In the latest INFINITI Q50 models, Apple CarPlay is included, but it wasn't available before 2019. However, the absence of Apple CarPlay in older models doesn't mean you can't add it with aftermarket options. There are numerous aftermarket radios and head units featuring Apple CarPlay, and replacing the factory unit with a new one is relatively straightforward. Start by removing the faceplate using a plastic pry tool to avoid scratching the trim, then pop off the bezel around the display. Next, unscrew the outer edge of the head unit and pull it out. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the back and connect them to the new head unit. Finally, reinstall the screws and reattach the bezel.
