The manual recommends adding 4.6 quarts of oil along with a new filter. However, even after following these instructions, the dipstick indicates that the oil level is still low. This happened consistently over the last three oil changes, where I ended up adding a whole 5 quarts of oil each time. I even checked the oil level again 30 minutes after the change and it was still almost a quart low. Is this a common issue for anyone else?

Certainly! I've experienced the same problem before and I remedy it by using exactly 5.0 quarts when changing the filter. After about an hour, the oil level looks perfect. Also, why wouldn't anyone change the oil filter along with the oil? I prefer using OW-20 full synthetic oil with a K&N PS1010 filter.
