To change the headlight bulb of a Ford Focus, first, open the hood and go to the side of the car where the bulb needs replacing. Find the two screws that secure the headlight assembly and take them out using a Torx T-30 star bit screwdriver by turning them counterclockwise. Carefully take off the headlight housing by pulling it straight off the front of the vehicle. The Low Beam bulb is positioned at the middle of the headlight assembly. Remove the rubber dust cap at the back of the housing to reach the base of the old low beam bulb. Twist the bulb's base 1/4 turn counterclockwise to unlock it and swap it with a new one. Be cautious not to touch the glass part of the new halogen bulb with your fingers or anything oily in the engine compartment.
