Although numerous 2014 Honda Accord owners have raised concerns about the non-functioning backup camera, no official recall has been initiated. If your camera is experiencing issues, it is recommended to first inspect the fuse. Access the fuse box beneath the car's hood by lifting the hood latch. Locate a black box or casing along the right-hand side of the engine compartment with a visible seam. Inside, you will find the fuse. Refer to the diagram on the case lid or consult the owner's manual to identify the specific fuse. Remove the fuse by pulling it out; if the thin metal strip connecting the two raised sections is broken, the fuse needs to be replaced. Otherwise, you can reinstall the fuse. Replacement fuses are inexpensive, costing around 10 dollars each. If replacing the fuse does not resolve the issue, consider having the camera repaired by a mechanic, which may cost between 200 to 300 dollars.
