Ford is recalling certain 2020 Ford Escape cars equipped with a key-start ignition system, a similar recall was done in 2014 involving about 1.3 million Ford vehicles for steering, rust, and mat issues. In 2014, around 915,000 vehicles were also recalled due to problems with the torque sensor, which could potentially lead to accidents. While numerous Ford vehicles have been recalled for different issues, none have been related to ignition switch problems specifically. If you experience any stiffness with your ignition switch, a straightforward oiling might fix it.
