I own a 2013 Ford Flex that's currently experiencing a water leak. After Ford inspected the engine to determine the source of the leak, they informed me that it's the water pump that needs to be replaced. The repair cost they quoted me was a whopping $2600! This is outrageous considering the water pump is situated inside the engine, requiring extensive disassembly of the motor to access and replace it. The design of placing the water pump inside the engine is flawed, resulting in excessive labor costs for consumers. Ford should consider issuing a recall for this faulty hardware.

I own a 2014 Ford Flex, which is an awesome ride. But when the water pump failed, it was a real headache. The repair cost set me back almost $3000. It's unbelievable that Ford hasn't issued a recall for this issue. It's absolutely disappointing.
