The Ford F-150 trucks from 2018 to 2020 were recalled due to wiper motors having insufficient grease. This could result in the wiper motor not moving smoothly, causing extra friction. In the near future, it may lead to minor scratches on the glass. In the long run, the wiper motor could be burned out or damaged. Ford will replace it for free if you reach out to them promptly. If you cover the cost yourself, it will be around $600 for both parts and labor.

In 2018, the windshield wipers on my F150 are moving sluggishly and stopping intermittently. The dealership refuses to cover the cost, even though it's evident that there is a problem with the F150's wiper motors.

Ford has issued a recall for some 2018-2020 F-150 trucks because the windshield wiper motor was manufactured without grease. Ford dealers will apply grease to the motor at no cost if necessary.
