Hey @Lbundy, I also recently did an oil change on my 4.6 engine. I added 7.9 quarts, but the dipstick is showing that I'm still short by a quart.

How about this: Original equipment manufacturer recommends using 0W20 oil. During an oil change, you will need 7.9 quarts to fill it up.

I recently did an oil change on my 2012 Tundra 4.6 for the first time, and it took nearly 9 quarts of oil. I am not sure what the other two people were talking about, and these trucks don't allow for quick 15-minute oil changes anymore.
