The 2013 Ford Explorer trunk and cargo space measures 21 cubic feet with the seats up and 80.7 cubic feet with the seats folded down. There is a small opening in the vehicle floor that can be lifted to access a compartment where the seats can be folded down. To fold the seats, you can pull the lever located on the side of the seats and push them into the compartment until they click into place. Reversing this process to raise the seats back up should only take a minute or two.

The storage area in the 2013 Ford Explorer is pretty standard compared to other SUVs of its kind. You get about 21 cubic feet of space behind the seats, and that expands to 80.7 cubic feet when you fold the seats down.
