The trunk and cargo space of the 2002 Volkswagen Jetta range from 13 to 34 cubic feet, or 13 to 51.9 cubic feet with the seats down. You can access a hidden compartment under the floor panel by lifting a small flap in the vehicle. The seats can be folded down into this compartment by pulling a lever on the side of the seats. Once in place, the seats will make a clicking sound to indicate they are secure. Reversing this process to raise the seats should only take a minute or two to complete.
