The trunk and cargo space of the 2011 Acura MDX is 15 cubic feet, expanding to 83.5 cubic feet when the seats are folded down. There is a convenient slit in the vehicle floor that can be lifted to access a compartment where the seats can be folded down. To collapse the seats, simply pull the lever on the side of the seats to release them, then push them down into the compartment until they click into place. Reversing this process to raise the seats should only take a minute or two.
