In 2014, the Chevrolet Equinox has varying cargo space sizes: 31.5 cubic feet with the seats up and 63.7 cubic feet with the seats folded down. To create more space, you can lift up a portion of the floor panel in the vehicle. Beneath this panel, there is a compartment where you can fold the seats down. To fold the seats, simply locate the lever on the side of the seat and pull it to release. Then, push the seats down into the compartment until they click securely into place. Reversing this process only takes a minute or two to bring the seats back up.
